Eimco Water Technologies CINETIK™ Line of Products incorporates the electro-dewatering process in a metallic structure (2) housing a linear filter belt (4) arrangement which moves the sludge cake along multiple serviceable power blocks or active electro-dewatering components (3) that apply pressure and DC current via modular rectifiers (1) to the sludge, hence dewatering it. When applied to a sludge of about 10-15% dryness, the CINETIK™ process can yield dryness levels of 30 to 50% or greater.
The units can be stacked or laid side-by-side and fitted with a number of independent power-blocks, which means that the dewatering capacity of a CINETIK™ Series system is determined by the total number of frames and power-blocks installed within them. The system's capacity can therefore be adjusted according to the amount of sludge to be treated.
